Embarking on my journey, Super 8 Mayfield welcomed me warmly, a comforting haven off the bustling 69, with ample parking for our small group. Housekeeping here deserves applause – cleanliness reached impeccable heights alongside excellent water pressure, ensuring a tranquil retreat. Surprisingly, the air of the room was lackluster, and the breakfast left much to be desired, lacking the hearty morning start we craved.Nestled just a mile away lies the Ice House Gallery, a charming slice of local artistry well worth exploring. The staff exuded kindness and efficiency, making our stay seamless and enjoyable. While the beds could use a touch more plushness, the overall tranquility of the property was a soothing balm for the soul. A convenient spot for unwinding after a day at Kentucky Oaks Mall or a stroll through beautiful Kentucky vistas.As the day wound down, the shared lounge beckoned, offering a cozy retreat for reflection and camaraderie. So, if simplicity and serenity are what you seek, this hotel holds the promise of a relaxing and wonderful visit, true to its essence as a reliable abode for weary travelers.
